Banana Nut bread recipe 2018 version

What you’ll need
3 over ripe Bananas
All Purpose Flour
Sugar
Baking powder
Baking soda
Unsalted butter (Room temp)
Large Eggs (Room temp)
Salt
Canola Oil
Vanilla extract
Cinnamon
All Spice
8oz Walnuts

Tools you’ll need
Bakers Joy non stick baking spray
Loaf pan. 9x 5/2 inches

Preparation of ingredients

Step 1- In a large bowl Add 1 1/4 Cups of All-Purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of Baking Powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda, 1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon, 1/2 Teaspoon of Spice, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Stir all ingredients together. Set bowl aside to add wet ingredients into later.

Step 2- In a medium size bowl, add 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter (Room temp), 2 tablespoons canola oil and 3/4 Cup of white sugar. Mix vigorously with whisk for one minute or until mixture is creamy and smooth.

Step 3- Add 2 Large eggs one at a time. Make sure eggs are at Room temperature. Add the first Egg into the bowl and mix with whisk until combined. Add the second egg in and mix with whisk until combined. Careful not to over mix.

Step 4- Add 2 Teaspoons vanilla extract. Stir until combined.

Step 5- In a medium size bowl, Mash 3 Bananas until it comes a creamy consistency.

Step 6- Add mashed bananas into your batter and stir until combined. The mixture will be slightly curdled this is normal.

***Spray Loaf pan with non-stick baking spray***
***Preheat oven to 325 degrees***

Step 7- All dry ingredients into wet ingredients all at once. Stir all ingredients together until combined.

Step 8- Chop 1 cup of walnuts into tiny pieces.

Step 9- Add 2/3 Cup chopped walnuts into batter. Fold walnuts into batter.

Step 10- Add Batter into loaf pan. Spread batter around as evenly as possible with the back of a spoon. To make the batter more even shake your loaf pan slightly.

Step 11- Sprinkle 1/4 Cup chopped walnuts on top of batter.

Step 12- Place into a preheated 325-degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Step 13- Remove banana nut bread out of oven. Toothpick inserted should come out clean. Let cool completely before serving.

Tips- For best results let sit overnight. Enjoy
