Step 3- Add 4 sticks unsalted butter (Softened), and 4 cups sugar into stand mixer bowl. Mix on a high speed for 6 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl.
Step 4- Add 8 large eggs in one at a time while mixing on a medium speed. Scrape down sides of bowl.
Step 5- Add the all-purpose flour mixture and the heavy cream mixture into the batter 3 separate times. Mix on a medium-low speed each time for 15 to 20 seconds or until combined. Spray your square tube cake pan with the Baker’s joy non-stick baking spray
Preheat your oven to 325-degrees F.
Step 6- Pour your prepared cake batter into your square tube cake pan. The pan should have an 18-cup capacity that handles large cake batters.
Step 7- Spread the cake batter around the square tube cake pan as evenly as possible with a spatula. Shake your tube pan slightly and tap the bottom of the tube pan with your hands to make the batter more even.
Step 8- Place into a preheated 325-degree F oven on the middle rack. Bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Step 9- After 1 hour and 20 minutes, remove the cake from the oven. Toothpick inserted into the cake should come out clean. Let the cake cool for 2 to 3 hours before removing it from the tube pan.
Step 10- Flip the cake over onto a flat surface or a cake pad and let the cake cool completely. Once the cake has cooled completely, it’s ready to be served.
