What you’ll need
2 pounds Fresh Green beans
1 pound Smoked Bacon or Smoked Turkey
D&D Smoked Sausage
Unsalted butter
1 Russet potato

Seasonings
Tony Chachere’s Creole seasoning
Chef Paul’s Vegetable magic
Onion powder
Garlic powder
1 yellow Onion
1 Pod Garlic

Preparation of ingredients
Step 1- Chop 1 yellow onion, 4 cloves garlic until minced.


Step 2- Rinse Green beans. Cup tips on both sides of beans. From there cut green beans in half.

Step 3- Peel Russet potato and cut it into quarter pieces. Add 2 cups water, 2 teaspoons vinegar and potato cubes into a small bowl. Let soak for 5 minutes.


Step 4- Cut bacon and 1/2 pound D&D Smoked sausage into small bite sized pieces.


Preheat fire to medium high heat
Step 5- Add 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, Smoked sausage and potato cubes into a large sauce pan. Let saute for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Once done Add mixture onto serving dish and cover with aluminum foil.


Preheat fire to medium high heat
Step 6- Add Bacon cubes into large sauce pan. Let saute for 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Once done, add bacon into strainer with a bowl underneath it drain pan juices. Reserve pan juices.


Preheat fire to medium high heat
Step 7- Add 1 tablespoon pan juices, 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, 1 1/3 cups chopped yellow onion, 1 tablespoon chopped garlic into large saucepan. Let sauté for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.


Step 8- Add Green beans, 2 1/2 cups water and 1/4 teaspoon Tony Chachere’s creole seasoning, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder and bacon pieces. Stir cover with lid. Let simmer for 25 minutes stirring occasionally. Add chopped Smoked sausage and cubed potatoes. Stir and let simmer for 2 minutes. Turn fire off and let cool for 10 to 20 minutes before serving.
